What They Say
Lucid Trading has quickly built a reputation as one of the most trader-friendly firms in the industry. With more than $2 million already paid out and over 5,000 traders served, the focus is always on helping traders succeed. Payouts average just 15 minutes, which means you get access to your profits almost instantly rather than waiting days. Reviews back up the experience, with an impressive 4.8 out of 5 rating on TrustPilot. Lucid is built around the idea of being the kind of firm traders actually want to work with: clear rules, fast execution, and real support every step of the way. If you are ready to take your trading seriously and partner with a firm that values your success, Lucid is ready.
What We Say
We receive a lot of requests to feature prop firms, but we are very selective since many do not meet the standards traders deserve. Lucid Trading stood out almost immediately. They gained strong customer support right away and did so without the backlash or drama that often follows new firms. In conversations with their team, it became clear that Lucid is focused on building something sustainable, with the goal of lasting long term rather than chasing quick profits. That kind of commitment matters because traders want to feel confident about where they invest their time and money. With their reputation growing and positive feedback continuing to pour in, Lucid is quickly becoming a gold standard in the space. This is a firm to watch.

Lucid Trading Review
Lucid Trading has quickly become one of the most talked-about futures prop firms, and after looking through all of their programs, it’s easy to see why. Instead of forcing every trader into the same account structure, Lucid offers multiple funding paths including LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect, allowing traders to choose the model that best fits their trading style.
The standout program is undoubtedly LucidFlex. Unlike many firms that continue adding restrictions after funding, LucidFlex removes the Daily Loss Limit, Consistency Rule, and Payout Buffer once you’re funded. For traders who want flexibility and fewer payout hurdles, that’s a major advantage.
Another feature I really like is Lucid’s End-of-Day drawdown system. Rather than dealing with an intraday trailing drawdown that constantly moves against you throughout the session, the drawdown only updates after the market closes. This gives traders much more room to manage positions and handle market volatility.
Lucid also keeps things simple with one time purchase options, fast account activations, and a 90% profit split across their funded programs. Whether you’re looking for a traditional evaluation through LucidPro, a more flexible route through LucidFlex, or a straight-to-funded option with LucidDirect, there’s something available for almost every type of futures trader.
No prop firm is perfect, but Lucid has done an excellent job creating trader friendly programs that focus on flexibility without overcomplicating the rules. If you’re searching for a futures prop firm with strong payout opportunities, fair account structures, and one of the best funded account experiences in the industry, Lucid Trading is definitely worth considering.

I’ve traded with several prop firms over the last few years, and Lucid has been one of the better experiences. The platform is easy to navigate, payouts are straightforward, and I really like the End-of-Day drawdown model. If you’re tired of firms constantly changing rules, Lucid is worth checking out.

What stands out most about Lucid Trading is the flexibility. I personally trade NQ, and having an End-of-Day drawdown instead of an intraday trailing drawdown makes a huge difference. The LucidFlex program is probably my favorite because there is no Daily Loss Limit once funded and no consistency rule holding up payouts. The rules are easy to understand, and the payout process has been smooth so far.

I’ve been through a lot of futures prop firms, and Lucid has become one of my favorites. Most firms either have too many restrictions or make it difficult to actually access your profits once funded. Lucid seems to have taken a different approach.
The thing I like most is that they offer multiple account types. If you want a traditional evaluation, you have LucidPro. If you want something more flexible, LucidFlex is a great option. And if you don’t want to deal with evaluations at all, LucidDirect lets you jump straight into a funded account.
The End-of-Day drawdown is another huge plus. It allows me to trade my strategy without constantly worrying about a moving intraday drawdown. Overall, the rules make sense, the payouts are fair, and the firm feels like it’s built by people who actually understand traders.

LucidFlex has been a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other firms I’ve traded with. No Daily Loss Limit once funded, no payout buffer, and a 90% profit split. It’s one of the few firms where I feel like I can focus on trading instead of constantly worrying about rules.

One thing I appreciate about Lucid Trading is that they don’t try to force every trader into the same program. Some traders want structure, while others want flexibility. Lucid gives you both options. The payout rules are clear, the account activation process is fast, and their funded account models are some of the most trader-friendly I’ve seen. If you’re looking for a futures prop firm that keeps things simple and transparent, Lucid is definitely worth considering.

Evaluation Rules
The LucidFlex Evaluation is a one-time purchase account with no monthly rebills. Traders can take as long as needed to pass the evaluation, and there are no activation fees when moving to a funded account.
Key Evaluation Features
- One-time fee
- No monthly subscription
- No time limit to pass
- No activation fee
- Real-time account upgrades
- No Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
- End-of-Day Drawdown system
- 50% Consistency Rule
- News trading allowed
How the 50% Consistency Rule Works
Your largest profitable trading day cannot exceed 50% of your total profits.
Example:
Day 1: +$1,500
Day 2: +$1,500
Total Profit: $3,000
Largest Day: $1,500
$1,500 ÷ $3,000 = 50%
This would satisfy the consistency requirement and pass the evaluation.
End-of-Day Drawdown
LucidFlex uses an End-of-Day (EOD) Drawdown instead of an intraday trailing drawdown.
This means:
- Drawdown only updates after the trading session closes.
- Intraday fluctuations do not affect your drawdown level.
- As your account grows, the Max Loss Limit trails upward.
- Once your account exceeds the initial trail balance, the drawdown locks and no longer trails higher.
Many traders prefer EOD drawdowns because they allow more flexibility during volatile market conditions.
LucidPro Accounts
LucidPro is Lucid’s traditional evaluation model. Traders complete an evaluation, earn a funded account, and follow a structured payout system designed around long-term consistency.
Available Account Sizes
| Account Size | Profit Target | Max Loss Limit | Max Position Size |
